Jasmine lost 26 pounds with healthy eating habits and exercise challenges. After she graduated college, she gained weight due to her metabolism slowing down. She decided to make some changes because she didn’t recognize herself anymore.

I have been an athlete all my life. When I graduated college (like most people), my metabolism slowed down. The weight gain was slow, but I did not really notice it until I reached 170 pounds. I didn’t even recognize myself anymore, so I decided to do something about it. 

My biggest issue with weight loss is my urge to snack. I love a good bag of chips! I buckled down and realized that a change needed to be made, or it would become even harder than it already was to lose weight. I currently weigh 144 pounds. I have lost 26 pounds so far.

What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
What inspired me to keep going was actually seeing results. It was the little results that made the difference, whether it was a t-shirt that fit differently or a pair of pants that didn’t fit last year that fit this year. Seeing those minor changes kept me motivated. I knew eating right and working out was the way I wanted to go.

How did you change your eating habits?
I changed my eating habits by cutting out fast food, junk food, and wine (because I love a good glass).

What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you work out?
I worked out five days a week by doing lower body, upper body, cardio, and full-body days. 

I started following month-long challenges, which gave me a push. I love a good competition, especially if it ends in me hitting my goal weight. I followed @Teamelitestrength‘s challenges. Kiara and Neeko are amazing coaches, and their programs have proven results. What’s convenient is that you can do them on your own time as well as compete for prizes. The real prize is seeing the results at the end of each challenge.

What is your height?
I am 5’1″.

When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started my journey in April 2020. I still have 20 more to go until I reach my end goal weight of 120 pounds.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I learned that junk food, alcohol, and binge eating aren’t worth it. In the end, you are in control of your body and what it looks like, but it takes hard work and discipline. If you can stay focused, the end results are worth it.

What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
My advice for any woman trying to lose weight is you can do it. It is not going to be easy, but you can do it. Remember, it is okay to ask for help, and it is okay to start slow. Please don’t rely on the gimmicks such as flat tummy teas because they won’t get you the results you want. Work hard and remember to take it day by day!

Is there anything else you’d like to say to others who wants to lose weight like you?

Just keep working hard and also the most important thing that made me lose weight is that I also consume this weight loss supplement called Resurge. I think Resurge is definitely the game changer here when it comes to lose weight, trust me you really need this one, just like I did!
